AI debate: Bring on artificial intelligence. Now!

No, I'm not going to write another post in which artificial intelligence is either the savior of the future or the Skynet of Cyberdyne Systems. Like you, I'm probably navigating the jungle of AI supply and prompting at the moment. Testing, interpreting and learning, always with corporate compliance in mind. I marvel at AI-generated videos with little text, smile at the lack of knowledge of Bard and colleagues in my field, find Co-Pilot to be the now automated horror of PowerPoint and begin to question more and more what I am still allowed to “perceive” as true in the public media.

However, my coffee machine inspired me to write this article this morning; at 06.00 in the morning, without the possibility of revocation, it did not offer coffee, but the descaling process. In my opinion, this is almost a death sentence for a coffee machine. With a little intelligence, she would know; “don't do that to your master at 6 a.m…!”.

Or the hyped Gen Z, which doesn't give me a glance during the physical sales process (yes, it still exists and yes, people usually talk to each other there), doesn't greet me, thank me for the sale or wish me a nice day. Give me the AI-supported counter machine! They are potentially nicer and more intelligent in human interaction.

Or the customer-oriented government employee who asks for form 12b and is just as robotic in his actions as an automaton. Bring on the AI!

I have one more: for airplane boarding “by Seat Row or Groups”… human intelligence is obviously not sufficient for this process.
