What the Austrian political farce has to do with data-driven recruiting
Admittedly, the Alpine republic has always been a hotbed of bizarre (political) stories...
But before I start talking about Ibiza, a little metaphor about last weekend's SPÖ election debacle.
What does the SPÖ vote have to do with data-driven recruiting? No, I don't mean that a new party chair should be recruited.
It simply means that it makes sense for our valuable human brains to deal with the interpretation and consequences of results (data). However, it makes less sense to use this highly sensitive organ to transfer data into Excel.
So before you continue to manually compile your recruitment KPIs (how many applicants come through which channel, average application costs, etc.) from the various publisher partners, think of the SPÖ. Not in terms of party politics, but from the perspective of what errors can result from manual data interpretation. As we know, the consequences can be “trend-setting”.
Strategic decisions with data-driven recruiting
In order to enable strategic and data-driven recruiting, you should have the right tools, i.e. software, to help you compile a wide range of data in a standardized way and at the touch of a button in order to draw the RIGHT conclusions for the future.
We can no longer help the SPÖ with this. In recruiting, however, we offer you the basis for quick, data-based decisions on your recruiting strategy. Just as important in the battle for the best talent!
